For our Business Development we are looking for a Business Development Manager Commercial Markets (m/w/d).

You are responsible for the successful positioning and implementation of our navigation systems and products, including new products such as autonomous navigation solutions on the global commercial market.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive Market Development: You analyze commercial maritime markets to identify new business opportunities, unmet customer needs and emerging trends, with a strong focus on future-oriented technologies such as autonomous navigation.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: You develop and execute market access strategies for new technologies and solutions, including positioning, segmentation and stakeholder outreach.
  • Internal Collaboration: You work closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering and Marketing to align product development with market needs and to ensure successful commercialization of new solutions.
  • Customer and Partner Engagement: You build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the commercial maritime sector, including shipowners, shipyards, port authorities, insurers and technology partners.
  • Marketing and Positioning: You support the development of targeted campaigns and communication strategies for commercial market segments in close coordination with the marketing team.
  • Represent Anschütz: You represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade fairs to promote our innovations and strengthen our market presence.

Your Profile

  • You have a degree in engineering, economics, maritime studies or a related field.
  • You have several years of experience in business development, sales, or product management – preferably in the maritime or high-tech industries.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of the commercial shipping industry, market trends, and customer needs in the field of (autonomous) navigation, as well as a strong network within the ecosystem.
  • You are a strategic thinker with hands-on mentality and strong communication and presentation skills.
  • You are experienced in working with international teams and customers and you are willing to travel internationally.
  • You are fluent in English, German is a plus.
